  Norton product keys are designed and intended to activate products that are sold in the same language as the keys. To ensure that customers are using the appropriate keys and product versions, Symantec has implemented a feature that requires the language of the key to match the language of the layout. The initial rollout is limited to Simplified Chinese keys.

  Customers who attempt to activate a Norton product with a Simplified Chinese product key that differs from that product language version may wish to return the incorrect key to the reseller they purchased from. Customers who would like to download the English version should purchase the English version of the product or key. We recommend that customers purchase the English version product directly from the Norton Store or legitimate retailer.
